Convert to e-Auction using a Quick RFQ
You can create an e-Auction by using a Quick RFQ event where you can collect initial bids.
To create an e-Auction using a Quick RFQ, click the Quick RFQ List menu below Quick RFQ in the e-Sourcing menu.
Only Closed or Completed e-Auctions can be used to create an e-Auction event.
Events that are in Closed or Completed statuses can be listed using the Status filter.
The desired Quick RFQ process can be converted into an e-Auction by clicking the Convert to Auction button located below the action column in the filtered list.
An e-Auction can be created by confirming the warning in the pop-up.
Setup stages will appear on the Create e-Auction page. In the General Information step;
In Setup page, the following information comes from Quick RFQ data;
Title: Displays the title of the Quick RFQ that allows you to change.
Company: Displays the company information of the user who created the e-Auction.
Authorized Person: Displays the user information of the user who created the e-Auction. The event can be assigned to another company user.
Internal Note: Displays the internal notes added in the Quick RFQ event to be shared with other company users automatically gets entered here and changes can be made.
Note to Participant: Displays the participant notes added in the Quick RFQ event to be shared with other company and participant users automatically gets entered here and changes can be made.
Bid Direction: Displays the bid direction selected in Quick RFQ. This field cannot be changed.
Currency: This is the field where the currency of the tender is determined from the currencies defined for the company.
Click the Next button to proceed to the Event Settings step. When the step is completed, an e-Auction event will be automatically created in Setup state. The RFQ ID number, which is the document referenced in the system, will be displayed in the upper right-corner on the screen. By clicking on it, the Bid Analysis page of the Quick RFQ, which is used to convert into an e-Auction can be accessed.
Click the Next button to proceed to the Line Items step. In this phase, the items used in Quick RFQ will be added automatically. No change can be made on the item list.

Click the Next button to move to the Participant List step. In this step, suppliers that have bid in Quick RFQ event can be displayed. It is possible to add a new supplier and remove a supplier from the e-Auction.
